Latent Heat is an experimental typographic book exploring in-between spaces and the connection between the physical and spiritual worlds. The title comes from the physical term “latent heat” — energy that exists within a process of transformation but cannot be seen directly. Created as part of a typography course, the project uses this idea as a metaphor for invisible change. The cover was made using the traditional Suminagashi marbling technique.
